I just love David Bowie! This guy is a genius and if you don't aggree, you should check out all the different genres of music he's worked in. Anything from jazzy balads to psychedelic rock and awesome drum and bass.

I remember how a friend of mine got really into David Bowie after I played him the only Bowie track I listened to at the time. I wasn't really into David Bowie back then, because I was more into DnB and his stuff weren't really my thing except for Space Oddity. I loved Space Oddity. So me and my friend(who's got an awesome blog http://immoralthinking.blogspot.com ) were trapped in a childrens playground, hiding from the pouring rain when I played it from my phone on shitty quality. He instantly loved it and a few weeks later told me that he found a David Bowie album, consisting out of electronic music and mainly DnB.



This is how I really got into David Bowie. Now I listen more to his psychedelic stuff, because I don't listen to a lot of DnB recently. Bowie's lyrics are great and his songs are simply perfect musically. He's released so much music over the years that his discography is a real jewel for every music lover.

Rap!

Before any of you get all angry and telling me that rap is not music check this guy out

He has some rad lyrics and great instrumentals and is the guy that really got me into rap music. None of that Soulja Boy stuff you're used to hearing on TV(tough I'm so tired of people constantly making youtube comments comparing EVERY good artist to Justin Beiber and Soulja Boy. We get it, they suck, but it's not like you're revealing a great secret or anything). Anyway, I hope you enjoy it. Give it a listen, comment and follow!

Thoughts on music

I was wondering "Why does music affect us so deeply?". Then this thought came into my head. As babies in the womb all we hear is the heartbeat and some other body noise. So maybe we get used to it and then our brain relates music to the security of the womb. But on the other side, why don't animals listen to music. And can we even hear, while we're in the womb? idk. Heard these guys while I was shopping, so I immediately went to the shopkeeper and asked about the bands name. Back home I looked them up and instantly became hooked.

LADYTRON

Another awesome band. Rocking synths, cool beats and awesome vocals. Also Mira(the singer) is hot.

NASEKOMIX

I wouldn't be surprised if you never heard about these guys. After all they come from this small eastern-european country Bulgaria, but IMO they're awesome. You won't find much on youtube, but you can check out their myspace http://www.myspace.com/nasekomix They sound great and they're awesome live.

MGMT

I'm hooked on theses guys, and they've been on my playlist for months. Give them a listen, because they have a really unique and inspiring sound + some great lyrics.
